- Down & Derby Mission -
The primary goal of Down & Derby is to raise awareness and funding for the WINGS Clinic. All proceeds raised through sponsors, hosts, and at the party itself are donated directly to the charitable organization. The money donated to the WINGS Clinic is specified to be used for patient medications and laboratory studies.
Another goal of Down & Derby is to provide a welcoming place for the GLBTQ community and our friends to participate in the festivities surrounding the Kentucky Derby. The creators of Down & Derby have maintained the goal of making the party accessible and open to everyone who wishes to attend.
The final goal of Down & Derby is to create a party that is exciting, fun and memorable. Down & Derby intends to become a Kentucky Derby tradition and continue its mission for years to come.
